Overview

I designed a website project template for TxDOT. This template would be used for large transportation related projects in the state of Texas. The ultimate goal was a template with content modules and a robust visually engaging site for the general public. The client ended up going with a different solution but I loved this design.

The Challenge

How do you make transportation construction projects visually appealing? The content is typically impersonal and dry but the general public needs to engage in order to provide feedback and understand how projects impact their region.

The Solution

Content architecture! Instead of stale content that isn’t engaging, I provided content architecture and a design system that is bright and friendly. The modules were flexible and designed to personalize the content for increased engagement.
